Bihar Polls: It Is It Is Advantage NDA So Far

Viewed as a referendum on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government at the Centre, the forthcoming Bihar elections is shaping up to favour the NDA, says Jay Shankar, Chief India Economist & Director at Religare Capital Markets. Jay Shankar said as of now it is advantage NDA but we will have to see how it pans out over the next 45 to 60 days because a week in politics is a long time and we are still like six weeks away from the elections. Interestingly, the BJP has not announced any chief minister candidate yet in a bid to take milege out of Mr Modi's charisma. The he RJD-JD (U) combine on the other hand is going to the hustings with Nitish Kumar as the chief ministerial candidate
